Steam & Fury was originally a small, 12-man tournament for the local gaming club, Wasa Wargames Club. We decided to invite some of our good friends from Umeå, Sweden to come over and join the tournament. Things started escalating and a small local tournament had grown into a 42-gamer hotel tournament.
In 2017 Steam & Fury was the official Finnish Masters tournament with 64 seats.
In 2018 Steam & Fury was a three game event: Guild Ball, Warmachine & Hordes and X-wing.
In 2019 S&F sold out both WM&H and Guild Ball.
In 2020 Steam & Fury had to be cancelled and same happened to Guild Ball as a game.
In 2023 Steam & Fury was the first event after Covid lockdowns. It hosted 12 player MCP tournament and 6 players where playing Warmachine.
In 2024 Steam & Fury moved to new Venue: Hotel Vallonia in Mustasaari. The event had 20 MCP players and 18 Warmachine players.
In 2025 Steam & Fury will be held in newly constructed Conference Center in Hotel Vallonia. Also Guild Ball will be back!!
